White Sails Inn was Voted Best Boutique Bed & Breakfast 2025 – Maine by Lux Life Magazine!
White Sails Inn is a small, independently owned inn with a limited number of guest rooms, so cancellations affect us differently than they do a large hotel.
Our cancellation periods are:
Cancellations made within the applicable cancellation period are non-refundable. If we are able to re-rent any of your cancelled room nights, we will refund the amount recovered for those nights only, less a $50 cancellation fee per room.
Travel insurance is available through our reservation system, and we strongly encourage you to purchase it if there is a possibility that you may need to cancel. Unexpected illness, family emergencies, weather, flight disruptions and other circumstances can happen, and travel insurance is the best way to protect your investment.
Once a reservation has been cancelled, it is no longer being held for you. If you change your mind, you must receive confirmation from White Sails Inn that your reservation has been reinstated. An email or message saying that you have changed your mind does not reinstate a cancelled reservation. The room may already have been made available to another guest.
Special rates, packages and whole-inn reservations may have different cancellation terms. The cancellation policy applicable to your reservation will be displayed when booking.
A deposit equal to the first night's stay is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due two days prior to arrival and will be charged to the card on file.
Yes. We are happy to hold a room for up to 24 hours while you finalize your plans. If we have not heard from you within that time, the room will automatically be released and made available for other guests to book.
