USS Esther

The Esther Room is a beautifully appointed queen room for up to two guests at White Sails Inn, combining Scandinavian-inspired design with coastal Maine charm. This inviting space features a mission-style queen bed, soft lighting, a sitting area with two chairs, and a private en suite bathroom with a tub-shower combination — ideal for couples looking to relax and unwind after exploring the Kennebunks.

Guests traveling with family or friends may also reserve the Varna Room as an add-on for two more guests, set up with either one king or two twin beds — a great fit for families with teens or friends who’d rather have their own beds. The Varna offers a private en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a comfortable sitting area with chairs and a TV — perfect for reading or relaxing in the privacy of your own room.

While the two rooms are located next to each other, they are not connected by an interior door. Each has its own private entrance from the hallway, offering a great setup for guests who want to stay close but still enjoy their own space. The pair sits together, apart from the inn’s other guest rooms, for a little extra privacy.

Booking the Varna: When you reserve the Esther, add the Varna for each night of your stay (a three-night stay needs a quantity of three), and let us know whether you’d like the king or two twins.

Both rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heat, ceiling fan, TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, hair dryer, and a small refrigerator with an icebox. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, body wash, hand soap and body lotion. An iron and ironing board or garment steamer is available upon request.
